Founded in 2023, the Gwinnett Lions Women's Rugby team began as a vision to create a competitive and welcoming space for women looking to take on the challenge of rugby. From its early days, the team has embraced the hard-hitting, fast-paced nature of the sport while building a strong sense of camaraderie and growth.

Since its inception, the team has continued to expand, attracting dedicated athletes eager to develop their skills and compete at a high level. As we move forward, the Lions remain committed to growing women's rugby in Gwinnett, providing opportunities for new and experienced players to be part of something bigger—on and off the field.
